The Carolina Hurricanes are looking for their third win in a row, coming off a home-and-home sweep of the Buffalo Sabres. The Hurricanes will face the 3-0-1 Boston Bruins tonight at 7:00 p.m. in Raleigh, North Carolina at the PNC Arena; defender Justin Faulk will not dress for the Hurricanes due to an upper-body injury he suffered in the second period against Buffalo the past Friday.

Cam Ward will get the start in goal for the Hurricanes, and will look to build off his impressive 30-save win against Buffalo in his last start. Anton Khudobin will get the start in goal for the visiting Bruins as regular starter Tuukka Rask will get the night off in preparation for the team's home game against the New Jersey Devils tomorrow night.

The Hurricanes will look to build off the team's home-and-home sweep of the Buffalo Sabres that brought the team's record to an even 2-2-0. The forward lines will look the same for the Carolina Hurricanes, and the line of Jeff Skinner, Jordan Staal and Zac Dalpe should look to continue their high level of play they showcased against the Sabres. Captain Eric Staal scored a hat trick in the fist game against the Buffalo Sabres, and his line mate Alexander Semin netted his first career goal as a Carolina Hurricane in the 3-1 victory against Buffalo this past Friday.

The Boston Bruins enter tonight's game with a 3-0-1 record and looking to extend their point streak to five straight games. Forward Milan Lucic comes into tonight's game with two goals and one assist (three points), and defender Dougie Hamilton comes into tonight's game looking to build off his two assist night in the team's last game (4-2 victory over the New York Islanders).

The Carolina Hurricanes swept the season series last year for the first time in franchise history, outscoring the Boston Bruins 12-5 in four games played.
